How brands, advertisers and even instagram responded to the facebook outage

Albert Einstein said, “in the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity.” On this occasion, brands like Snickers, The Empire State Building, and Twitter took advantage of one of Facebook’s most significant outages to show their personalities and get some exposure while they were at it. It was a dialogue between brands, teasing and having fun. But did they use their tone of voice? Yes, and even better, they sounded human!

“I do not care about Facebook being down. I am literally a building.” tweeted The Empire State Building.
